TV Host Joey Zhou Receives Los Angeles Beverly Arts (LABA) Icon Charity Award


Beverly Hills, California, USA. 11th November, 2021. TV Host Joey Zhou receives a Los Angeles Beverly Arts (LABA) Icon Charity Award for his significant contributions to the organization since it was founded in 2020, at the Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. The award was presented by the Rotating Chairperson of the LABA International Art Festival, Princess Karen Cantrell, who attended with her husband, Peter Ludwig Johannes Eckert. The other guests were Billboard Top 40 Recording artist/philanthropist Laura Angelini, and her husband, Michael Lesnick. 

 

Joey Zhou (Joey Zhou Zheng) is an international TV host, event producer, founder of The Beverly Arts, the Los Angeles Beverly Arts (LABA) International Art Festival and The Beverly Arts Online Exhibition, the "Zhou Zheng Art Channel", and founder/host of the Zhou Zheng Show”, an independent TV talk show with a reach of 500 million viewers. Originally from China, Joey came to the U.S. on an academic scholarship and completed a fellowship with the White House Information Agency in media communications. He returned to China to teach college and began a career as a media host doing interviews for newspapers, radio, and television. Joey was appointed an honorary member of the Royal Society of St. George California in 2019 and an honorary member of the United Nations Association of the USA in 2020.
